Varsity Games will be 17-minute stop time periods.
There will be a resurface after the warm-up and after each period of play.
The warm-up will be 12 minutes long.
JV Games will be 15-minute stop time periods
There will be a resurface after the 2nd period.
Starting line-ups will be announced for each team prior to each game.
The National Anthem will be played prior to host team games only.
NFHS & WIAA rules apply to all tournament games.
Teams should be prepared to go on early in the event the games get ahead of schedule – the start times are approximate.
Teams on bottom of bracket are home team and will wear white.
When not playing the host school, teams will flip a coin prior to the game for last line change.
If the teams are tied at the end of regulation play, teams will play an 8-minute sudden death period consisting of 4-on-4 hockey (except Ashwaubenon vs Sheboygan game, which would be 5-on-5). The first team to score a goal will win the game. If the teams are still tied at the end of the overtime, they will proceed to a shootout.
Shootout – each team selects 3 players for the shootout – the team with the most shootout goals after all players have finished will be the winner.
If still tied, then the teams will play a sudden death shootout. Each team will select 1 player for the sudden death shootout.
If the score is still tied, then the teams will select another player. This process will repeat until there is a winner.
Players may be repeated if a sudden death shootout occurs (T.J. Oshie Rule).
Trophies will be awarded to the Consolation Champion, 3rd Place, Runner-up, and the Champion.
An All-Tournament team and a KJN Most Outstanding Player will be selected, and honorees will receive plaques.
Fans will be charged $6 (adult) & $3 (senior citizen/student/child) at the gate per day.
Weekend passes may be purchased also for $12 (adult) $7 (senior citizen/student/child).
There will be concessions, raffles, chuck-a-duck, and a brat fry throughout the event at the hockey arena.
